Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has to be re-elected for the Rythu Bandhu scheme to continue in the State, says BRS Working President KT Rama Rao while addressing a large gathering during his roadshow in YadagiriGutta on Monday. On the same day, he also participated in the roadshows at Bhuvanagiri, and Miryalaguda. He said that KCR was the only leader who could come up with a farmer friendly schemes like Rythu Bandhu.
Ridiculing TPCC President Revanth Reddy’s comments where he said the Congress party had patents on free current, KTR asked where was quality current when Congress was in government. He added that before 2014, Congress has promised six-hour power supply but couldn't even give for three hours.
KTR said that Revanth Reddy's three-hour power cut and use of a 10 hp motor for farming reflects his knowledge on farming. “Only KCR can give 24-hr power supply. If giving power was that easy then why couldn't congress give,” he asked.
“Do you want the current or congress,” KTR again asked the people. He further said that the people should decide if they wanted to vote for Congress which gave Rs 200 as monthly pension or BRS which is giving Rs 2,000 pension per month.
KTR stated that PM Modi when in opposition cried over the gas cylinder price hike and after becoming PM, he increased Rs 800 on the gas cylinder. He further said that CM KCR will bear Rs 800 and provide the gas cylinder for Rs 400 to the people in Telangana.
KTR said that the Congress couldn't develop Yadagiri Gutta, failed to give water, and did not implement progressive schemes which were being implemented now by the BRS government.
“KCR made Yadagiri a new district, developed YadagiriGutta temple, gave Rythu Bandhu to the farmers, and also gave power, water, KCR kits and a degree college,” KTR said. He asked what Congress did for the people of Yadadri.
He said that the Yadadri was being transformed massively, giving competition to Tirupathi. He said that this election will decide the fate of Telangana State and people should make a wise decision while casting their vote on November 30th.
